Type: Lectures, practical training and student presentations at Zurich Zoo, on site visits
Aims: Theoretical knowledge in the biology and medical management of main zoo animal orders (Mammalian carnivores, Megavertebrates, Primates, Birds and Reptiles, special emphasis on anaesthesia, conservation and legal issues.

Duration: 10 d
Type:On Site Visits, reports, reasearch work and student presentations at a host facility (usually, another zoo)
Aims: Introduction practical experience in zoo animal and wildlife research

Duration: 8 x 1 hour
Type: Lectures
Aims: Different presentations on a main topic, which changes annually. Mainly external speakers
